Privacy policy

The short version

This website does not use cookies, does not run analytics, and does not track you. The demos on it run entirely in your browser and send nothing anywhere. If you email us, we keep the email.

This website

No cookies, no analytics. We set no cookies and embed no analytics, advertising, or social media trackers. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard web server logs — IP address, page requested, timestamp, browser user agent — for security and to keep the site running. We do not use them to build a profile of you and we do not combine them with anything else.

Fonts. Typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. That means your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which Google may log, including your IP address. If you would rather that did not happen, a content blocker will prevent it and the site will fall back to fonts already on your device.

The demos

The three interactive demos in our portfolio run completely inside your browser. The customers, orders, policies, technicians, certificates, and dollar figures in them are invented and belong to no real person or company. Anything you type into a demo stays in your browser's memory, is sent to no server, and disappears when you reload or close the page. No demo action charges a card, dispatches anyone, generates a legally effective document, or sends a message.

If you email us

We receive whatever you send: your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message. We use it to answer you and, if we end up working together, to run the engagement. We keep correspondence for as long as it is commercially useful and then delete it. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

Software we build for clients

Most personal data we come near is not ours. When we build or operate a system for a client, that client decides what data is collected and why — they are the controller, and we act as a processor on their written instructions under a contract that limits us to those instructions.

In practice that means: if you are a customer, insured, or employee of one of our clients and you want to see, correct, or delete data held in their system, the request goes to them. Write to us at the address below and we will pass it on, but we cannot act on it ourselves without their instruction.

Where we hold access to a client's production systems for support, that access is limited to named individuals, logged, and used only to diagnose and fix problems.

Sub-processors and where data sits

This website is served by a static hosting provider and our email is handled by an email provider; both may process the technical data described above in the course of delivering their service. For client systems, the hosting and infrastructure providers are named in the contract with that client, along with the regions their data is stored in.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable form. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We do not charge for any of this and we do not treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site and the software we build are business tools. They are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be described here rather than quietly folded in.
